To My State Senator & State Representative

WHEREAS: The right of the people to keep and bear arms is protected both by the United States Constitution and by the Constitution of the state of Michigan; and

WHEREAS: This inalienable right clearly includes the right to carry a handgun for self-defense; and

WHEREAS: Requiring law-abiding citizens to ask government permission through the permit system before they can exercise their Constitutional right to bear arms is a clear violation of that right; and

WHEREAS: Real-life experience and extensive research both clearly demonstrate that restricting the right to bear arms in self-defense only encourages violent crime.

THEREFORE: I respectfully urge you to publicly support and vote for Constitutional Carry in Michigan. Great Lakes Gun Rights will keep me informed about your votes and actions.

Fellow Michigander,

Michigan Democrats need to be rocked back on their heels after pushing for a multitude of unconstitutional gun control measures.

Constitutional Carry will not only do that but also work to restore the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding gun owners.

That’s why we must FIGHT BACK with pro-gun legislation in Michigan.

Law-abiding gun owners should not have to beg for government permission or buy back their Second Amendment rights.
